About Me

Hey y’all, I’m Rachel!

I’m a personal stylist & style coach whose mission is to empower people to unapologetically express who they are with their clothes. I believe personal style is deeply connected to our mental and emotional state. My coaching method blends fashion psychology, self-exploration, and style education for a holistic approach to personal style.

I hold dual certifications from the School of Style and Style Boss Academy, and I earned an AA in Apparel Industry Management from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. I also have a background in fashion blogging. I interned with College Fashionista, contributing monthly blogs showcasing the unique personal style spotted across my campus. I published a personal blog, On The Edge of Style, where I explored how to bring alternative style into the traditional office setting.

My Personal Style Evolution

I know what it’s like to be stuck in a wardrobe that doesn’t feel right anymore.

I only wore black for almost a decade. It made me feel powerful, like I was wearing a suit of armor. But as I grew as a person, my all black wardrobe started to feel stifling and stale.

This was hard to admit to myself- I was known for my all black wardrobe and had even built my business around it.  I worried how others would react to such a dramatic shift. But deep down, I knew that my clothes no longer reflected the person I had become or the life I was creating.

So I embraced the discomfort, took myself through my styling method, and redefined my personal style. Today, I feel more aligned with who I am than ever before. That experience gave me invaluable insights, allowing me to guide others who are ready for their own style transformations—helping them break free from the past and step confidently into their future.

So I worked through my discomfort, took myself through my styling method, and redeveloped my personal style. I now feel more aligned in my style than ever, and am grateful for this experience because it allows me to guide others through similar experiences.
